I spoke to a year 4 senior who was deciding on which subjects to add or drop. Logical answer was to either go with your interest or with what you can do well in. He chose the latter. His reply: Sometimes interest cannot earn you a living.

It's true isn't it, when you get older, you become more practical and realistic. I'm not implying that there's anything wrong with becoming pragmatic. But I suppose, life wont really be life when we are too pragmatic :) Where is the saying that goes: You'll do well in what you are passionate about? Underlying one is passion, the other, logic. Isn't it passion that drives us further in life? And isn't it not also logical to go with your passion? :) Confusing? haha..

I was just thinking, sometimes we give things up so easily. Success or accomplishment may just be 5 miles ahead and we fail to see the overall picture but dwell on our current situation. hmm.
My inspirations and thoughts are coming back :) hahaha.. good good :)
